Title: After uninstalling Avast - the system does not get up
Post by: REDACTED on August 14, 2015, 11:07:40 PM
Hello, I have a little problem. I uninstalled Avast, wrote restart the computer, I made this action, but the system does not raise. Windows 8.1 diagnoses the computer but can not fix the problem. So I ran FRST64.exe WinRE environment. Here are the results of the scan

Hi lukmaciej :)

You can attach your logs by clicking on "Attachments and other options"  :)
But I have notified essexboy to help you.
As it is night here in Europe, be patient though.

Greetz, Red.

C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\volsnap.sys IS MISSING <==== ATTENTION
C:\Windows\System32\codeintegrity\Bootcat.cache IS MISSING <==== ATTENTION
Now theoretically windows should replace bootcat if it is missing

At the command prompt enter the following command and try a reboot on completion

sfc /scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\windows
