Title: windows security alerts - avast home edition

The error message I get from the windows security alerts is:
"avast! antivirus 4.6.731 [VPS 0546-5] reports that it might be out of date."

I re-registered yesterday, and entered my new license key into my avast program. When I try to update avast, I get the message that VPS is already up to date. What can I do to stop the error message from windows security centre?

Have you checked the date of you computer clock?
