Hopefully it will have a solution of the cascade of issues in 2223 through 2225 win XP even SP3 with system lockups whist browsing, using MS Excel, chkdsk, etc. etc.

Avast! should add a ad blocker in new beta.

Avast! should add a ad blocker in new beta.

There is a lot of good alternatives around. Even IE11 has it built in in some level, so personally I don't think it is a must.

But MS Edge has no ad blocker/Banner blocker. So i think it is a basic need.

I have been told by Avast Support that the next major update is expected in a couple of months. I submitted a ticket after a existing bug that I found in the previous few version of avast (still exist in the current release) and hopefully my discovered bug may get fixed? This discovered bug is a tricky and strange one and it has to do with avast account sign in via Avast GUI and idavast.com showing incorrect installed features .

Lol guys,

I never said what kind of Beta it will be.
I only said a new Beta, so maybe that new also relates to something new ::)

Avast! should add a ad blocker in new beta.

-1
avast has enough attached bloat, not to mention there are more ad-blocker add-ons than you can shake a stick at out there already.

Avast! should add a ad blocker in new beta.

-1 No need for Avast to add a ad blocker. Download and install Ad Blocker Plus. Been using it for years and years. An excellent program for use.

Concerning Ad-Blocker: This is the answer from my mail-provider since a couple of days, trying to login in my account.

I gave my word to this person. And I will keep my word.

+1 I have windows 7 and i also have problems with NG / secure virtual machines, it blocks access to chkdsk.

To get around this I am forced to disable, NG / secure virtual machines.

I hope they have some big changes security-wise and stop putting in Bloatware..........

And might reduce or get rid of the popup ads, etc.

Also read for what users are complaining: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/avast-please-share-your-opinion.378539/

Avast seems to be loosing customers already..........

It's not the ad-blocker, it's the avast! Online Security browser add-on that blocks their crap and they think it's ad-blocker doing it...

Avast! Should have the new Real-time threats monitor for recent types of threats to solve the problem as soon as user encounter to the virus.

That's what the resident shields are for. Add in the streaming updates and you have the most up-to-date antivirus on the market.

Maybe only a SafeZone Beta, and maybe first only a closed Beta for Evangelists, I am not sure about that.
But I am sure he promissed me a Beta.
So where is the Beta Avast ???

Doesn't seem top have anything related to the system lockup issues in winXP or the chkdsk issue in some OS versions.

It all seems related to win10 - I could have given this a miss - if only my settings hadn't been bl00dy change to Auto Program Update yet a-bl00dy-gain.
