Title: Avast Free vs Avast Business
Post by: REDACTED on August 26, 2015, 06:16:55 PM
Hi everyone!  :)

I'm the person who 'looks after' three computers in a company.
I'm basically able to deal with them phisically most of the time (but not always) and anyway they don't need my support very often.
Do you guys think I should get into Avast Business (providing I would go for the free version) or it's better to stay with Avast Free?
Avast Free seems to offer more functionalities, but I'm not really sure.

I'm looking forward to hearing your opinions!

Thank you in advance,
Eduardo

avast free is for private none-comercial use, so i guess avast business for free is the one

I'm talking about a family company, with just a 'real' worker and two sons who help from time to time from their personal computers; so I don't think that's the point.
I just wanted to confirm that Avast Free offers quite better options than Avast Business.

Using the Avast for Business (Free) version should be the perfect solution for you.
I set it up for my Sun-in-Law and Daughters business. They have more computers than you
and their business has offices in 2 states.
They have been very happy and are able to manage and secure their computers from one central point.

However, Avast Business doesn't include remote assistance, which is a very useful tool..

For remote stuff you can use TeamViewer or AnyDesk and set up a password for
remote connections :)

AnyDesk has a much better performance.

Both are free.

I just checked with my Daughter and you're correct. It's not included and I also agree, it should be.  :(
