Title: Your PC temperature
Post by: YLAP on November 24, 2005, 04:33:23 PM
Hey, I just thought it would be interesting to know how hot it is inside other's PC's.  ;D

(AMD Duron 1615Mhz, SiS IGP 64MB video, Seagate Barracuda ATA IV 40 GB, no additional fans installed)

You have to be aware that not all motherboards have exactly the accurate readings... in most cases even when checked in BIOS and from within Windows (let's say for example, Everest home Edition), readings are mostly different.

Also, type and number of your fans have great deal in final result... and the most important, type of the processor, and is it overclocked or working under "normal" conditions. So, good thing would be that everyone who wants to post their results, also give some addtional info (type and speed of processor, motherboard type, number of fans inside the case, type of the processor heatsink, also what speed it's spinning at etc.)

Ice cold ;D

With a good CPU heatsink and fan and case it will help cooling greatly not to mention a good thermal paste between the cpu and heatsink.
CPU heatsink and fan,ThermalTake Extreme Volcano 12 - case, ThermalTake Soprano with front and rear 120mm fans and one 90mm fan in the side window.

CPU overclocked from default 15.29GHz (133 fsb x 11.5 multiplier) to 19.04GHz (136.01fsb x 14 multiplier). This was an Athlon XP-M 1800 mobile processor with the multiplier unlocked.
