i heard much about linux and its high security, so why i need anti-virus for it since it has a high security and won't affect with a virus.

Most linux antiviruses, Avast included, are designed for server usage (mail server, file server, ...) to filter
data that are later accessed by Windows machines. It makes no sense to install them on a workstation.

so you mean it is only for web security only, not to protect my local files??

If your running a linux pc as a server connecting to windows servers there could be a risk.A windows malware cannot do anything on linux.
