I particularly like the fact you can delete the spam/suspect emails at server level without have to download them to Analise them.
Mailwasher is my "pralka e-mailowa".Then you should join me and cast you vote in the Other catagory, it's lonely there on my own ;D
Vlk... you guys never start polls without a reason...
Are you making a deal with any spam killer application?
If so hope spamihilator wins as I've translate it ;D
Can you tell us the secrect behind this poll? ::)
hmm.... I cannot realy answer the question about what anti-spam is good becouse of most e-mail clients like Foxmail (my fav. for USB stick) has build in antispam functions. Some of them I think can also update ruls for spam detection.In that case vote Other.
A few of it's features........Spamihilator and SpamPal have them too 8)
* Unlimited number of Accounts
* Quickly preview a message
* Delete messages from the server without downloading them
* Spam management using rules and white/black lists
* Low resource usage
Just out of curiosity....do you currently use Spamihilator? If so, what is the resource utilization (RAM)?Yes. I'm using it.
Thanks Tech. I'll read up on the program some more. I might try it on a spare machine just to see how it does.You're welcome. Don't forget to check http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=3413
I hope Sasza is not right with his remark about Avast developing into "bloatware".
A new FREE antispam program introduced as a seperate unit to Avast AV developed by Alwil would become as successful as their AV program.I will only post my opinion when Alwil team will be so kind to ask my previous questions...
About the bloatware issue, BitDefender has an antispam function (which works well very well) and uses about the same amount as memory (if not less) than Avast!.Are you referring to the paid version?

Wow, ReVaN ... you're a lucky one! But, give it time and once your email address gets around on the web a little while, you'll get some spam and become one of us. ;) :D
Actually, I hope you never get any spam! :)

The rule of thumb is "If its free, its got a catch."
The rule of thumb is "If its free, its got a catch."Well, I completely disagree of this.
I've downloaded mail washer as suggested, I've already got spy bot. This morning I've got 4 spam emails, 3 of one type, one of another. What have I done / am I doing wrong! :P :(Unfortunately , nothing. Spam is a fact of life that's why you need a program like Mailwasher.
What have I done / am I doing wrong! :P :(Probably nothing... Just that MailWasher will need some time to learn your spam 'patterns' (and maybe some adjustments) to work perfectly.
