Title: The number of successful activations...
Post by: anarkii on October 16, 2015, 02:54:46 AM
I have purchased Avast Cleanup and im also a Windows 10 insider, meaning I get to test Windows builds regularly when they are released from Microsoft.
However, because of this it seems that I have used up the number of successful activation's for my account from installing/reinstalling Windows due to the testing process.
Is there a way to get this reset (or better yet, a way to deactivate the current activation before upgrading to a new build) so I dont use up those activation's?

As you can see from the screenshot - my licence is valid

Hi B,

Thank you, Cleanup indeed works for me again.
In future, is there a way I can deactivate Cleanup before upgrading to a newer build? Or would I need to post here again for a 'reset' as it were?
Kind regards,

Chris Cowell.

Dear B.
May you do for me the same?

I am unable to activate Avast Cleanup on the same notebook after upgrading Avast Free Antivirus (uninstalling) to Avast Pro Antivirus (installing new and activating sucessfully).
Licence for Cleanup is seen in the activation menu, but after presseing "use this licence" button, it does not get Cleanup activated. The button turns into "proccesing scale" and nothing happens next. No error messages appear.
Appriciate your support!

Kind Regards,
Victor

Thank you for attention.
Some one from tech support resolved the issue.
Now Cleanup is activated and working!

A activation code can only be used a couple of times.
After that you are supposed to use the license file.
