The web shield seems not to be scanning anything.
-
Hi,
you are using Chrome, right?

Yes. Even coming here to send the first post and here is the screen grab for now.
-
Well, Google removed the API for Chrome on Android 6 :-/ We are currently investigating other options, but for now, WebShield doesn't work for Chrome on Android 6.

Thanks mate.

Good news guys, web shield will be functional again! We found solution which will be available in AMS 5 (you can taste it already in beta (https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.avast.android.mobilesecurity)). Next week it should be released (=> in next Beta iteration).

That's great now all that has to be improved in the beta is the ability to schedule scans and the ability to see the file names (of your files being scanned). I would also add that I want to see my apps being scanned as they are downloaded by way of an alert (just like it is on the stable version) but some people might like the new silent AMS. I am not one of them. As if you think about it how can you tell if it's not working...............Oh yes of course it stops working and goes silent..........Oh wait a minute!!!
