I have downloaded the installer 2 times from and every time I start the installer the splash screen pops up and disappears and nothing happens please help.

What installer (avast version) ?
Where do you get the installer from ?
What is it you are trying to do exactly ?

I'm running windows 10, Trying to install the newest Version, got the installer from the website directly from my computer the first time, and the second time I downloaded it on a different computer and transferred it to mine via USB, and I'm just trying to get a better antivirus program than I already have.

Is your current antivirus working ?

No somebody using my computer downloaded a virus on it and I can't track it down and neither can windows defender

OK that explains why Avast is not installing
Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/files/file/435-frst-farbars-recovery-scan-tool/) and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.
- Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
- Select additions at the bottom
- Press Scan button.

- It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.
- Please attach both logs generated.

Okay these are the files that were generated.

OK this is severely infected... I will need to detach a driver to ensure that this fix works, if that fails then the system will blue screen and I will have to take another approach
CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer
Save the attached fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe

Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that
If this blue screens then try the fix in safe mode

Please download AdwCleaner (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/) by Xplode onto your desktop.
- Close all open programs and internet browsers.
- Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
- Click on Scan.
- After the scan is complete click on "Clean"
- Confirm each time with Ok.
- Your computer will be rebooted automatically. A text file will open after the restart.
- Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
- You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S0].txt as well.
