we continue in updating the beta channel, here is the latest version V2016: SP1 Beta 1 (2016.11.1.2242)

How to install:

1. If you have installed some beta version before you can update it to this latest version via Settings->Update->Program.

2. Or you can download and install from here:

How to provide feedback
Please for specific issues set a new topic in the Beta section (https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=15.0). For general open discussion feel free to use this thread.

Or use the feedback form in the program GUI or in the SafeZone browser.

Changes from V2016 public version:
+ Updated CEF -> fixes some crashes of GUI
+ HTTPS scanning now supports SPDY protocol
+ Cut texts in menu fixed
+ Fixes in SecureDNS
+ Fixed missing Spanish language in Home network security

Known issues:
- Pay mode in SafeZone browser doesn't work on Windows XP

To report BSODs, crashes or any other none trivial problems please use new SupportPackage generating tool.

Post by: DavidR on November 13, 2015, 04:01:33 PM: This update seems very light on detail, so much so that I have to wonder if it is going to resolve issues with 2241 that people (me for one) have been experiencing during browsing and email from early 2016 beta, RC and final versions.

I may just give this one a miss, which will only be the 2nd beta trial skipped in over eleven years.

Hi RejZoR,

FF 64-bit will be supported once it will be official and not developer. The reason is that sideloading is done via registry and Developer edition has different records.
