GrimeFighter has been replaced by avast CleanUp.
You need to upgrade avast.

To activate it:

Let's see if we can find out what is not working/why it isn't working.
If you wish to do so ofcourse.

What happens if you run avast cleanup ?
Are you getting a error message ? (screenshot please)
What OS/SP  do you have ?
Was this is clean installation of the latest avast version ?
How did you install cleanup?

Looking at the ticket number, it seems to me that you submitted it very recently.
At what date did you created the ticket ?

It is only 1.6Mb.
Don't forget that even if Cleanup removes those files, Windows is creating new files.
Some files also can't be deleted if they are in use.

As far as I can tell now, Cleanup is working as it should on your system.

avast is trying to handle tickets within 10 business days (=2 weeks)

i dont know what basis you are saying clean up is working... what is the purpose of clean up? finding 1.6 mb of files which will also recreated by windows?? i was expecting cleanup will resolve my pcs poor performance and paid for it, but it actually failed to do so. i dont want to spend time on replying on this thread any more, I just need money back which u guaranteed at the time of purchase. Please process the ticket asap and issue refund

I didn't guaranteed anything.
I am not a avast employee.

What is making you think it isn't? It is scanning and cleaning up the things it found. That is exactly how it is supposed to work.

A slow system doesn't have to be caused by malware.
It can also be caused by e.g. dust making the hardware too hot.

If you attach the Farbar log files to a post, we can check if there are things loading/running that shouldn't.

Do you mean the purpose of clean up is to just clean un necessary files? if yes there are lot of free tools available for that why i should go for avast paid one ?

https://www.avast.com/en-in/cleanup - and see this. it is quoted it will speed up you PC in minutes? By seeing all these only i installed avast cleanup not just remove temp files / unnecessary files

Hope you understand a customer concern instead just defending yourself.

Let me know how to get the log files ?

For the log files, follow these instructions :
https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

Avast CleanUp is checking for a lot more things than just unneeded files.
But as with all those tools, it can't cleanup/fix/remove what it doesn't detect.

But let's see what the logs show us.
Computers (as with e.g. cars) do need maintenance now and then. ;)

Don't know old the system is, but ever opened it and removed all dust ?
This includes normally also taking out, opening and cleaning the inside of the psu.

4 years is old  ;)
Dust  removal should take place at least once a year.

Formatting is "software maintenance", removing dust is "hardware maintenance". ;)

As for the ticket, it is counted in business days.
10 business days = 2 weeks.

I will see if I can get someone from avast to have a look at it.

You could send Davidek or another admin a private message. Just include your ticket number.
