Title: Is the system restore complete or not?
Post by: REDACTED on November 26, 2015, 04:47:58 PM
I just tried to do a sys restore on W10 x64, and after rebooting a message saying avast prevented restore to complete, and advises me to disable it before doing a restore.
But after I open system restore, I have an option that says recall restore, which means... that it DID successfully work?
Or not? I am not sure how to proceed from now.

You don't say what avast version that you have 11.1.2241 being the latest ?

The avast Self Defence (SD) module is designed to protect avast and that would include running system restore. Depending on what avast version you have has an impact on how SD might impact on it, the latest version of avast's SD is more tolerant of system restore. You can however disable the SD module before using system restore.

I have got serveral mail from you telling me that you miss me as customer.
As far as I know I been charged for re-activating my Antivirus on my computer.
It seem like everything is working fine but maybe it doesn't

I have also tried to fine a e-mailadress to the support without success.

Please contact me and help me to see if my computer has antivirus or not.
