Title: Manual file scan—redundant?
Post by: REDACTED on November 30, 2015, 08:30:09 AM
When I download a file (especially an executable), it's always been my habit to right-click it, then click "Scan with Avast..."

But with Avast's File System Shield on, is that necessary? Can we assume that Avast has already scanned a file when its download is complete?

Thanks!
