Title: Why does Avast Mobile Security want access to my Contacts?
Post by: REDACTED on November 30, 2015, 03:10:11 PM
Hi,

I'm using the Premium (ie. paid) version on Avast Mobile Security on an android phone. I run CyanogenMod with its built-in Privacy Guard. That means I know when (and can deny) an app requests access to various information on my phone (contacts/pics/internet/sms/etc).

Does anyone know why when I receive a cell call that Avast Mobile Security wants access to my Contacts?

Thanks for your comments.

Regards . . .

Hi,

most probably because of the SMS/Call blocking feature.
