Title: uninstall probs

hi
just downloaded version 4 and cant uninstall old version
keep getting message saying cant find file avast32.uni
any help would be great

Well, that doesn't look good. For some unknown reason, it seems that the uninstallation script is missing.

The cleanest way to get rid of v3 is probably to "install" it again (some recent version), and then immediately uninstall it.

Aleternatively, you may opt to manually remove it - just by deleting the files and registry entries...

there is another way how to uninstall avast3 from system - you can use program named AvClear.exe. It deletes all files of avast! and removes all appropriate registry entries. So if you want to continue to use avast! just update it, if you want to uninstall it use avclear.exe I can send it to you if you will contact me on e-mail address svihalek@asw.cz
