Title: Number of devices supported by one license (SecureLine vpn)
Post by: REDACTED on December 28, 2015, 02:56:25 AM
I've searched the forum and could not find the answer to how many devices a license for SecureLine supports. We have two Windows laptops, two iPads, and two iPhones in the household. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thank you.

Each device needs a valid license.

For the Windows systems, you can get 2 licenses or 1 that covers 3 pc's.

Not sure about the iPad/iPhone version, but have a look at the website.

Hi Hopmere,

At the moment, SecureLine has a 1 license to 1 device model.  It is possible to buy licenses for Android and iOS in the cart before checkout.

We are also working on a cross-platform license model which would allow a single license to be used across all the platforms you mentioned.  That is still a few months away, so until then the above-mentioned option is the way to go.

Best regards,

Davidek

My question is slightly different.
Can I use one license on two different devices, when I set up a vpn session on one and end the vpn session on  the second device ?

As far as I know (and I have used it in the past!) you can load the license on 2 Windows machines as far as you do not connect at the same time.

So I believe having 1 Win License is enough. Not sure regarding IOS.
