Title: Firewall install issue
Post by: tomay777 on January 06, 2016, 05:22:12 AM
How do you install the new version when you are behind a firewall.  I can download the executive file but when starting I guess it is trying to connect bact to the Avast server and the firewall does not allow that.  I can't do automatic definition updates as well.

Is there a stand alone install file?

Thanks

Better is to setup the firewall rules correctly so that avast is allowed.

Time to get a gun and make the owner allow avast ;D

At least in theory you should be able to install avast using the full package.
You can download the latests vps on a system that allows you from : https://www.avast.com/download-update
Transfer it to the system you want them and run the vps installer.
