Title: Licence not working says activations has reached limit.

I have just installed Windows 10 from new. I have installed Avast IS and inserted my code and it states my activations has reached its limit.  Please advise, I've never experienced this issue and have reinstalled my Windows multiple times with no issues.

Welcome to the forum.
I believe the the key has a 5 try limit. there is none for the license file.
If you can't find the license file, have it resent:

Bob is correct.
The activation code can only be used a limited amount of times.
You need to use the license file.

Yes thanks guys but strangely enough I only have the invoice attached to my original email and have requested email twice with file over the last 14hrs.  Something amiss.

Personally I have renewed my AIS license a few days ago, and I also got only an activation code ( and the invoice attached ).
To be honnest, I can't remember the last time I got an activation code :-\

That said : Are you sure you have used the same email address on https://www.avast.com/en-eu/resend-license-paid.php as when you have purchased Avast ?

Yes I have used same address as I still have the original email in all its glory.  I have yet to submit a ticket which I will do.

Just checked again Red - I can log into my account using the email address.  I then click on download my licence file and it just shows me the number which again is useless to me now, not sure why it only has 5 activations.  Anyway sent a ticket yesterday but have had no response as yet.  Will get depsrate in 29 days :)

When you click on "Download License", it actually downloads a file to your default download folder:

Once the download is complete, you need to double click on that file and it should activate your product.

Thankyou Bob - yes I have managed to successfully download the file.  Crazy part is when I log into my account it doesn't work but the link Rednose posted worked for me.  Thansk Rednose. I must howevere say though I am a little disappointed with Avast Customer support as I have lodged a ticket and have recieved no notification to say the same. I will however renew my account as I do believe Avast is a great programme.
