Hi there,
The last update seems to cause problems with virtualbox.
I updated Avast free to the last version this morning, and all 64-bits options in virtualbox went away, so none of my x64 vm start.
Host:
Windows 7 64 bits (no Hyper-V platform)
VirtualBox 5.0.14r105127 (last release)
Bios: Virtualization Tech & VT-d enabled, no changes
Avast last update (Today 9 fev 2016 9a.m. gmt+1)
Guest:
Debian, Ubuntu, Windows... (x64)
Uninstalling Avast solved my problem, I could select 64b version, but this can't be the definitive solution.
Any clue?

Had the exact same problem and found the following solution:
1. Settings -> Troubleshooting
2. Unmark/disable 'Enable hardware-assisted virtualization' and reboot.
That seems to release Avasts hold of the hardware virtualizations resources VirtualBox is missing to run 64-Bit Guests.

Thank you neryll, despite disabling this feature seems unsafe, this did the trick.
