Title: Import passwords from LastPass?
Post by: REDACTED on February 19, 2016, 07:43:53 PM
Hi,

Just wondered if it was possible to import passwords into the new Avast Passwords feature, from LastPass?
It's the only thing stopping me from switching.

I've looked all over, but unless i'm missing something i can't see any way to import passwords?

Thanks for any help.

I haven't found any way. I'm actually using both. :)

I have the same question/problem and it's wearing me out to keep flipping from one to the other.  If I don't get an answer immediately, like by tomorrow, I'm going to have to dump SafeZone.

avast passwords and the SafeZone browser are two different things.

I also subscribe to that wish. I would swith to Avast right now. But i will definitely will not enter every password again manually.

Is it possible? Are the avast devs watching this? Lastpass can export CSV files (clear text passwords). I would even do that, just to be able to import them all.

Best regards,
FF

Found another way until this gets sorted out:

1. LastPass in Firefox: Tools > Export > Firefox (and you have all passwords temporarily saved in the browser)
2. Avast: Settings > Import from Browser
3. optional: if you wish delete them from Firefox
