Title: Trying to remove Avast browser extensions completely.
Post by: Bowdon on February 21, 2016, 02:37:35 PM
How can I completely remove the 2 firefox browser extensions?

Avast Online Security 10.3.3.39 (disabled)
Avast SafePrice 10.3.5.39 (disabled)

I have disabled them both. But I want to completely remove them. There is no remove button.

I have heard that they can be uninstalled via the Avast program, but I've not seen where the option is.

So how is this done?

Ok, I poked around and found the answer.

Load up control panel, go to add or remove programs / programs and features.

Click on Avast and press the Change button. Then untick browser protection. Then click ok and it changes it and removes the browser addons from the extension page.

I wish this info would be more readily available. I got it from an old post on the forum.
