Title: Exclusions settings seems to be ignored
Post by: REDACTED on February 26, 2016, 09:23:55 PM
In the "Scan Settings" for "Full system scan" I've set in the "Exclusions" tab:
Code: [Select]
C:\Program Files\*(I used the "Browse" so no copy/paste or typing)

However, Avast still scans Program Files :-\

Picture 1: "Full system scan" page is scanning. "Scan Settings" in the lower left corner.

Picture 2: "Exclusions" (in the "Scan Settings" for "Full system scan")

The fact that the path appears in the progress does not necessarily mean the files are actually scanned. It can be just an enumeration, either of the regular scan - in which case you'd see the files as "skipped" in the full report file (if you enabled the report to be created), or of an antirootkit scan.
Are you getting any detection in C:\Program Files?
