Title: No Flash Player
Post by: REDACTED on March 09, 2016, 02:33:56 PM
I have Flash Player on my Laptop and works well with Internet Explorer. But in Avast Safe Zone I keep getting messages saying I need Flash Player and if I go to download it, it obviously doesn't load it again.
Help please?  :'(
Thanks
Oliverd

Thanks Eddy,

When I load Flash player as you suggest, it shows the installing bar working, then goes to step 3 of 3 which advises: THANK YOU. HERE IS ANOTHER PRODUCT THAT MIGHT INTEREST YOU. But no way of leaving this screen. Restarting just takes me back to Flash Player required.  :'(

Any idea what is wrong?
Thanks

https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
- Select "Need Flash Player for a different computer?"
- Choose the OS and browser
- Select the version
- Remove the checkmark for the "optional offer"
- Click "download now"
- Download and run the installer

See if that is solving it.

Install Unchecky (https://unchecky.com/) or,  start using Custom Install not the default. Even better, get used to doing both. :)

Even better would be to remove/uninstall Flash "if possible" for Win7 and up or disable Flash within the browser, I no longer use Flash and haven't had any issues with HTML5 in Edge or IE.
