Hi,
I have been a long time user of Free Avast. My yearly subscription was due so I decided to renew. During renewal Avast was proposing a free 30 day trial for "Premium" or "Internet security" (I can't remember which one). Since then, I cannot access internet anymore on this computer. It is only this computer whom cannot access the internet or Wifi in the house. I have uninstalled Avast from the computer to see if it would help, but without success. I haven't fond any solutions yet.
I'm using Windows XP
Can anyone help please?
Thank you

If that does not work then reset your TCP/IP.
Here is link from MS Support site.....has an easy download auto fix.

Here's an easy fix
To reset TCP/IP automatically, click the Download button. In the File Download dialog box, click Run or Open, and then follow the steps in the easy fix wizard.
This wizard may be in English only. However, the automatic fix also works for other language versions of Windows.

I have tried and deleted 2 lines with the name Avast associated, but this haven't cured the problem.

Earlier yesterday I have tried a similar CMD prompt sequence found on the internet to fix TCPIP problem. It did not work. After trying your downloaded version, it fixed my problem.
Thank you so much Sir! Now I can breathe. :0)
