Title: Avast Internet Security causing problem in Windows 10
Post by: REDACTED on March 20, 2016, 09:43:21 AM
Three Days ago, i install Avast Internet Security in my Lenovo G50-80 5th Generation. After 30 minutes, i feel that my laptop is heating up, i ignored it but i noticed that the battery timing of my laptop is reduced suddenly from 5 hour to just 2 hour. i uninstalled Avast, after uninstalling laptop stopped heating up and battery timing comes back to 5 hour.
What is the issue with Avast, there is no other antivirus in my machine, i am using Avast internet licence which i got by referring 21 people, i am using windows 10 64 bit latest build.

Did you remove your previous used AV with that vendors removal tool?

Are you sure? ... Lenovo usually come with preinstalled McAfee

Let's use a diagnostic tool and we may see the problem

Scroll down to second picture ... Farbar Recovery Scan Tool ... run as instructed and attach the two diagnostic logs

See below the box you write in ... Attachments and other options

My Lenovo had McAfee on it when I received it not long ago. It was the first thing I removed through programs and features and by using their removal tool.
