Title: Avast Updating?
Post by: JerryM on January 06, 2006, 05:10:03 AM
I am trying the free Avast. When I click update it only take  about 2 seconds, and says that it has updated. I doubt that it has considering other security programs I have or have tried, such as Bit Defender, and Kaspersky.

I think that Avast is one of the most used free AV. Anyone with some experience?
Thanks,
Jerry

It''s ok. Updates are incremental, intelligent and extremelly fast.
All servers are allowed to free users (not like some other antivirus).
Which is your avast and VPS versions?
