Title: Where to report dangerous website?
Post by: REDACTED on March 28, 2016, 05:32:39 PM
Before 2 days I just downlaoded one file from https://haxup.com and my pc was full with unwanted programs, viruses. On task manager I found a process, which take 1.200.000 of my RAM.

The bad was that Avast didn't detected it as virus, but no matter...

Where can I report dangerous websites as this?

Thanks  :)

Maybe not so strange when what is offered on that site is crack and serial keys, you are responsible so use your brain

It is no surprise if those nice guys that give this away for free also include some extras they dont tell you about    :o

I tested a few downloads and they came up clean.
This is just one of them :

As with many software nowadays, if you don't do a custom installation all kinds of "PUP's" are installed along with the application.
The website however is in almost all countries illegal due to the offering of illegal software.

There is no need to use illegal software.
If a person can't afford the software, the person should look for a cheaper (legal) or free (legal) alternative.

If you buy a pc, laptop or something like that, make sure you also have the money to buy the software.
If you don't have the money for the software it is like buying a car and not having money for the insurance, fuel etc.

I usually do not open programs for such things, because 99.9% of them are malware, but did  the mistake.

I'm young student and at this time can't afford to pay 50$ for license. However, thank you for the advice, Eddy :)

Well, avast cannot be too happy that such a file is out there anyway.  Thanks for pointing in the correct location.

The information they give is false.

Avast SecureLine VPN Crack works by creating an encrypted tunnel between....
It is not the crack that works that way, it is the VPN that does. The stupid morons ;D

The mentioned server list is not correct.

And hé look, they are using avast 2015(!) and not 2016.

It would not surprise me if avast is already blocking people who are using that "crack".

That really isn't an excuse since Avast has a free version which has kept my computer safe since 2003. :)
