When i check the Realtime Data status it suddenly disappeared the Shield activity, but it still scanning items in background.I think this is a statistics BUG in 11.2.2259 Beta.
-
Same here, I can confirmed this.
Edit: it's still in v2260.

With the Stats RealTime data open:
1. the CPU peaked at 56% and settled to about 50% for as long as I kept it open.
2. There appears to be a memory leak as it just keeps on increasing, currently 1.3GB and still going; 1.5GB.
I have now closed the Stats window:
3. the CPU returns to 00% and memory is returned to a modest 34MB whilst the UI is still open.
4. Closing the avastUI screen and CPU remains at 00% and memory of around 9MB.
Edit: it's still in v2261.

@ qwermikle
This is not the same problem:
You are reporting Avast Service using Hi CPU and memory doesn't appear to be adverse.
This topic is about AvastUI.exe with Hi CPU and memory use when the Avast Statistics window is open

I´m sorry to say but what does AV-9844 means. I´m just an ordinary Avast user not so into the technical terms. Using the latest version Avast pro antivirus 2261.

I don't think many avast users will know this - but my guess is it is the ID number for a bug report - if so only avast know when it will be completed.
I rarely venture into the stats section of the avastUI as I don't believe there is much in the way of detailed information.
Given this is more of a minor issue (almost cosmetic) any other bugs with a higher priority would be handled before it.

+1.But memory leak can be a serious mess :)

But who keeps the statistics window open where it is either not showing any data or what it is showing is pretty weak.
I only kept it open for so long to gather data in CPU and RAM usage.
After that I rarely open the statistics as I think in its current form it is pretty useless and I have held that view from when it was first introduced. Insignificant or too little detail in my opinion is almost worse than none at all.
