Title: My finger print as main password
Post by: REDACTED on April 09, 2016, 04:58:58 PM
I have downloaded Avast Passwords on my iPhone. Each time I want to add a service with usename/password, I have to enter the main password that is long and somewhat complex. Is there a way to enter in Avast Passwords with my finger print instead of the password? I think that both are very reliable? I know that would be a feature for the newer iPhone, iPad, etc. but it would be much user friendly. Thanks.

Hello bal.bonjour,

It is possible to login into iOS Avast Passwords by Touch ID feature (iOS version of fingerprint). You can enable it in Settings -> Touch ID.

But you have to meet two conditions:

1) Have a device with Touch ID
2) Add your fingerprint into your device (You can do this in iOS Settings -> Touch ID & Passcode -> Add a Fingerprint ... )

If you do this, you should login into Avast Passwords by help of Touch ID without any problems.
