Title: Secure DNS - lots of questions
Post by: shootfire on April 12, 2016, 07:10:39 AM
I am confused regarding the Secure DNS feature, and I cannot find much info online about its technical specs.

- Is the Secure DNS feature used at the network level, or at the PC level? If I go into Control Panel -> Network and Sharing -> Adapter Settings, I can see that there is no specific DNS specified.

- The Secure DNS feature is installed on my PC and is "on" per the Active Protection menu. However, in my Avast profile, it states the feature is disabled on the computer.

- Is there a DNS address I can enter myself?

Windows 10 Home 64 bit
Avast Internet Security ver 11.2.2261

Thanks!
