Hello,

Very sorry for the late reply.  The great firewall in China does block not just ours but many VPN services.  Unfortunately, this is probably the case with you.

If you have purchased SecureLine within the past 30 days, then you are entitled to a refund.

The service will still work outside of China, but I'm not sure if that is any help.

Best regards,

Davidek

With the recent efforts from China to block VPN's in mind, could somebody explain to me how this is done? I was under the impression that it is not possible to use DPI to identify VPN traffic, because it is encrypted? What other techniques are used here to censor? There are still a few specialized China VPN (http://www.bestvpnprovider.com/china-vpn/) services that still bypass these restrictions in China.

It doesn't matter if the traffic is encrypted or not.
It is really simple, block the IP's of known VPN servers.
