Title: Problems Using Secure Zone - Pay mode does not lode
Post by: REDACTED on May 02, 2016, 10:07:21 PM
Hi, I am having problems each time I load the Secure Zone. The paymode tries to load but fails to do so.  The "help"section suggests clicking the credit card icon top right, this should solve the problem.

The only problem is that it does not,  I was attempting to use Nationwide Building Society website, each time I click the log-in the Site log-in button the paymode just sits there attempting to load with no result.

Using Windows 10 and most up to date Mozilla Firefox (loaded yesterday from firefox website).
Can anyone help please?

Hi,

I would suggest you perform a Repair&Update of your Avast, to ensure any minor issues are resolved, please can you follow the steps below:

1. Click on Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a Program (Programs and Features, Add or Remove Programs) > Avast > Click on "Uninstall/Change" > Repair
2. After the repair, please make sure that you have the most recent version of Avast - 2016.11.2.2262.
To do that, please open Avast and go to > SETTINGS > Update > Program > Update and update your Virus definitions as well.
3. Restart your computer.

Please let me know if you are still facing the issue,

I have the same problem, Nationwide site does not go past the first authentication, it just sits there. Therefore as far as I can see BANK MODE does not work on this site.

Post you have replied to is dated last on May 3, 2016.  Old and obsolete post.  A lot has changed since May 2016.

Why is this relevant?

Browser in use at that time was Avast SafeZone Browser.  Not supported anymore, new browser is Avast Secure Browser.  See:  https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=224492.msg1490337#msg1490337 (https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=224492.msg1490337#msg1490337)

Follow bob3160's advice, else update your ASB browser to latest version here:  https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=224482.0 (https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=224482.0)  Your issue should be fixed.  Back up your bookmarks!
