Title: after updating from firefox 1.0.7 to 1.5 there is a smtp timeout

using firefox 1.07 everything was ok with the smtp, also with sending big attachments. after updating there was a timeout problem. thunderbird 1.5 does not deliver the mail because of the timeout. this problem is only with big attachment.

You can extend the timeout delay in Thunderbird, that should give avast time to scan the attachment without exceeding the timeout delay.

You could temporarily disable outbound scan when sending large attachments.
