Title: Zone alarm firewall flags suspicious behaviour by avast
Post by: REDACTED on May 25, 2016, 05:27:31 AM
Since updating to the most recent version of avast av free, my firewall reports suspicious behaviour with avast trying to modify physical memory. I'm running win XP pro  with Max ram installed.
As I said this notification is only on Windows starting up.
Has anyone else come across this ? As well, I'm seeing higher then normal PC resources being used during updates.
!
Thanks

Should probably be posted in ZoneAlarm forum as i guess this is something they must fix

alternative, use winXP firewall

Seems like the message isn't correct.
Physical memory can't be changed by avast, only what is stored in it.

Imagine avast opening a system and swapping the ram stick(s) ;D

That's the correct place to post the problem however, don't expect an answer.  :(
Changing your firewall is probably the better option.
