Title: Whats the effect of "Monitor" setting in Shield settings

Hi. What is the effect of enabling "Monitor" in the Shield settings in the AEA console. For every shield there is an option to "Enable" and "Monitor". What does "Monitor" do?

Thanks. I know that document, but there's nothing in there to explain what "Monitor" does on top of "Enable". Anyone else care to enlighten me?
