How do I turn off the On-Access Scanner Messages that keep coming up every time I go to a new page?

Click the Avast Icon in the right corner of the Task Bar/Intermet Mail/Customise/
do you have one of the radio buttons selected??

Stick around and browse the sticky threads at the top of the forums, there is a lot of information to help you get the best from avast. The avast help file is also very helpful ;D

This option 'Show detailed info on performed action' is off by default, so you have been tweaking avast, hoping to get the best from it, so the above will help.
