Title: Cannot access Internet unless I disable Avast
Post by: mytimbuk2 on September 15, 2016, 12:24:43 AM
This just happened this evening...  it keeps opening a program called Secureline VPN, which I don't know where it came from... I"m using the free version of Avast and always have ..  (Except when I tried purchasing the Premium and had to get rid of it) I tried disabling the Secureline, which says my internet is off, but the only way I can get it back on is disabling Avast all together.  I don't want the firewall or Secure Line or any of that, just anti virus.  How can I get my free Avast back? I'm using Windows 7 Pro.

Clean Install of Avast:

This time, choose a custom install and uncheck the items you don't use or don't want installed. :)
