Title: Can't understand optimized wifi on battery profiles

Every battery profile has 'Optimized wifi ON' feature. It says wifi will kept on if only connected to a wifi network. Otherwise it will off but regularly check for wifi networks. But in my case it's on every time. Even if I off the wifi it will automatically turn on. But I'm not connected to a network meanwhile. I have wifi connections around my house and office but not mine. Is that the reason wifi keep in ON?

Came here to say the same thing. It appears to periodically turn Wi-Fi on when it is definitely set to off. Disabling battery saver and the problem goes away.

It can only do so if it enables the WiFi ;)
