Hi everyone.
Over one year ago, I was having trouble to run a virtual machine in VirtualBox. I eventually discovered it was Avast (Free) which was causing it. I solved it by unchecking Settings > Troubleshooting > Enable hardware-assisted virtualization. Now I reinstalled my Windows 7 x64 on an SSD and the same problem popped up. However, I no longer see that option in the settings.
How can I disable Avast's hardware-assisted virtualization?
For the record, [1] is where I found out about this, which links to a thread [2] from here. Microsoft's HAV Detection Tool once again tells me HAV is not enabled on this computer, even though it is in the BIOS.
Thanks in advance.

Edit: Just logged in on the old Windows, which I was using until one or two months ago. The option is also missing there, but HAV is still working fine.

Thanks! Weird thing I couldn't find that thread in my searches. Also, pk forgot to write "Reboot for the changes to take effect". I figured that out instantly, but other users might lose some time trying to figure out why it didn't work.

The search option in this webboard software isn't exactly good.
Better is to use Google to search.
e.g. keyword-1 keyword-2 site:forum.avast.com

You're welcome.
