Title: [Wish] Sandbox configuration - When installing Avast Paid.
Post by: Rednose on October 02, 2016, 01:41:33 AM
Inspired by RejZoR :)

When a user installs Avast Pro, IS or Premier, the installer should check which browsers are installed on the system, and gives the user the option/recommendation to run them in the Sandbox by default.

Good idea.  Usually the default browser is chosen but a choice at setup is good.

An old topic but ...

Also when using the Sandbox on an Administrator account, imo Avast should configure it with "Drop administrative rights ..." by default !

Though dropping rights within sandbox doesn't really change anything for the guest-host VM relation. It would only affect relations of apps within sandbox and even at that point, I don't think it would change much for the apps inside it imo.
