This morning, the icon is shown animated despite the fact that SecureLine is Disconnected. ???

Could it be it checked for available servers or for a update... ?

No it's still animated now and it's been hours since I booted the laptop.
SecureLine is off since I'm on a secure network. It should show the icon indicating that it's off on on and active.

you mean icon is flickering like when trying to connect? Could you please send me your secureline.log?

It was animated the same way that it animates when connected.
It's back to normal after a reboot.
( I've emailed you the log. )
