Avast on our Exchange Server has been picking up a virus it calls W32:Gnome-D.
I've looked around the net, and can only find references to a 1993 W32.Gnome variant.
Can this be one and the same? Or is this another false postive type thing?
Anyone have any info about this particular virus?

Can you try to upload the (possible) infected file to virusscan.jotti.org (http://virusscan.jotti.org) to see if only avast! detects it as a virus, if so its probably a false positive.

Unfortunatley I can't do this as it's reported as being an infected body part of an email in an inbox.
