Title: Android questions- basic
Post by: REDACTED on October 22, 2016, 07:09:41 AM
I have been using android for years but technical has become so much more complex. My understandings are basic.
1. A cell phone company employee added his google account on my phone when i was having some issues with phone without my knowledge. I found his gmail account on my account by accident. Google removed his account from their side. I am concerned that he may have put app where everything I do can be watched. I am not concerned about banking, ordering items, etc because I do nothing by phone. I have no 'secrets'. But I would resent privacy invasion, and the fact that immediately after this the employee went to Pakistan for two months-what if my phone has been taken over, or is this even possible?? I thought it is-someone just needed my/your phone in hand for a few minutes??? If so he can read this...  I did change my Google account pw after Google removed him. But if he can 'see' everything I do, that doesn't help.
2. What is the Avast Safe Secure Mode (not right name)?. I could not find info. I have recently been getting  ad that says I've won ipad, which is malware, and suspect 'Walmart$100 gift card' is also. What should I be concerned about and what should I do? Instructions if needed must be simple as I do not understand many terms of android/software.  Thanks

Thx for reply, eddie. I will lose all my pictures, contacts, files, etc, as this phone, cheap metropcs/Samsung Avant does not let me put everything/anything on sd card....
