Just upgraded to AIS 2016 from free version, and now I can't print anything. Turned off Avast firewall, and the printer connects and prints just fine with Windows firewall operating. How do I adjust settings in AIS firewall so that I can use my printer. Thanks!

- Enable the "Private" mode in Avast -> Tools -> Firewall
- Click on Settings within the Firewall window and enable the option "Internet Connection Sharing mode"

Thanks for the replies..I checked out Eddy's link, but I'm pretty new to setting up a firewall, and not sure how to use those instructions...don't want to make matters worse. However, I did enable the option "Internet Connection Sharing mode" as Asyn suggested, and that worked, but does doing that compromise the security to my computer?

You're welcome and no.

Thanks again, that was an easy fix!

As info :
Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) mode - In this mode certain ports are open which are normally closed. It decreases the security level, but can troubleshoot problems with network printer or internet connection sharing.
