Title: ChromeDWriteFontCache: can I delete it?
Post by: JLJ-o-matic on January 02, 2017, 10:17:20 PM
Windows 7 Home Premium x64 / Avast Free 12.3.2280

There's a large file named ChromeDWriteFontCache located in C:\Users\___\AppData\Roaming\AVAST Software\Avast\Cache\

Wondering if this is needed or not -- file mod date is over 6 months ago, and I no longer have Chrome Browser installed, nor do I plan to reinstall it, but I'm not sure if this file is actually related to that or something else. Two Forum posts on the topic don't clarify. Would like to reclaim the space if possible.

Any info appreciated -- THX

As it is just a cache file, it is safe to delete it.
