Title: Does avast live scan all file when added / downloaded or opened on my computer.
Post by: REDACTED on January 02, 2017, 10:30:48 PM
Im in a habit of when i download a file from the internet, or if somone sends me an email attachment to save it to my downloads folder and then use Avast to do a custom scan on the file.

I noticed that Avast has a file scanner, is the file scanner live, eg. if i open a file will it scan the file before opening / running it ? Or as soon as its finished downloading, Thus negating my custom scan workflow that i currently do ?
