Title: latest update turned off usb ports

Help, I updated the avast program this morning (windows 10), and i can not get the computer to finish booting. The mouse lights up, and then turns off right when the win 10 login photo appears. However, no login appears...ie user and.or password. Just the photo shows. Keyboard lights stay on, but is unresponsive. Mouse is dead. (wired ms optical mouse) works fine on other computers. I tried switching ports and even used a different mouse
(wireless) - didn't work.

What exact avast version ?

Avast Internet Security - Purchased 9-19-16 for 2 years for three computers. The invoice doesn't have a version number.

Edit to add version number which i got from one of the other computers NOT updated this morning. It's version is 12.3.2280 build 3154.23 The broken computer is my main desktop, and it may have been updated to a newer version than the laptop from which i got this version number. I think its avast was updated a few weeks ago.
