over time my avast has gathered up a few network firewall profiles so i thought i would delete the inactive ones (they are all from the same router) but 2 of them wont delete and when i try avast crashes. i have tried doing a repair of avast which reset all the settings except for the firewall stuff.
running avast internet security version 12.3.2280

See if it helps to disable Avast self-defense first.

If disabling the self defense doesn't work, perform a clean installation of avast.

disabling avast self defence didnt help, i could just leave them if they are no issue.

I'd just leave them. If you're nitpicky, follow Eddy's advice.
