Title: Avast blocking streamable
Post by: REDACTED on January 15, 2017, 01:25:11 AM
Hello everyone!

Recently I've been unable to watch streamable videos. I get a message that says "The webpage at https://streamable.com/.../ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address." And when I try to go to their website I get a message saying "Your connection is not private" and "NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID". I've tracked this back to Avast and have tried to exclude streamable's website from the web shield, but with no result. And now I can't really come up with any ideas as to how I'd fix this.

Appreciate all the help I can get!

Hi, just tested it, I can reach the site without any problems.

I can reach it, but the headway-widget.net 3rd party connection from the site wasn't loading, but the rest was.

I also noticed a New or Internal Network notification in the Firefox Add-on Bar, possibly from my Firefox World IP extension. Presumably the site tries to establish a network connection for uploading/streaming. Only using the windows 10 firewall on this system.
